Zip up the G-suit, grab your helmet, and clear the runway. After a long stint in the hangar, Bear Force One is finally taxiing to the active. We are back with another Karma cross: this time, we have taken the Karma and Hortilab collaboration, Sour Power OG, and put her on joint manoeuvres with 3 Bears OG. The result is loud, pungent, and, according to Jimbo, the "final boss of OGs."

The mission profile started back in 2019. Mitch and Tim had initiated another of their full-scale deployments: a mass growout of the latest photoperiod offerings. Following the initial R&D run, another deployment of potential projects was staged. Amongst many standout candidates, the Sour Power OG x 3 Bears OG cross was the one that had particularly tickled Tim’s pickle. Everyone knows how much we have enjoyed Karma’s genetics over the years; and we've recently sat down for a chat with him, so look for that interview coming soon!
3 Bears OG has long been considered one of our Artisanal Cornerstones. Its popularity has not waned over the years, and it remains one of Mitch’s proudest projects. Given the love we have had for Karma’s strains and their autoflowering derivatives in our catalogue: including the award-winning 505 Headbanger; this "Karma x Karma" mashup was the only logical tactical choice. Our resident Bear acts as the structural reinforcement here: providing the rock-solid chassis and all-rounder reliability that keeps the high-octane Sour Power terps on a stable flight path. She brings that signature OG grit and a predictable growth habit that ensures the mission stays on target.
Bear Force One, along with a community-tested selection of F1 Limited Editions, will be dropping on the 16th of March at 1pm EU, 12pm UK, 8am Eastern, 5am Pacific.

Looking for the full debrief on Bear Force One? Here is a look at her technical specifications.
In 2019, a crack genetics unit, Tomahawk Tim & Mitch Magnum, was sent to the breeding tents on their top secret mission, or, more realistically, a mass growout. We were looking to build the ultimate successor to what we’ve previously described as an ‘Artisanal Cornerstone’, 3 Bears OG. We focussed our targeting-array on the rare but legendary "watermelon candy" phenotype. Our goal was simple: create 3BOG V2. We wanted to keep the lemon, the fuel, and those outrageous terpenes from the Sour Power OG side, while reinforcing the structure and "all-rounder" reliability of our resident Bear. After a slight COVID-related delay, we donned the tactical vests, slapped on our camo face paint and loaded up our M202 FLASH. Unfortunately, Jet-Fuel Jimbo wasn’t on hand to film the montage.

Crossing Sour Power OG with one of our own Karma derivatives was an obvious choice, it gave us the directly injected hit of nostalgia that seeing Stallone, Li, Lundgren, Statham and Schwarzenegger on The Expendables poster first did. And, just like the film, we expected and received pure, unadulterated genetic muscles. When Mitch was tasked with the unenviable job of hand-crumbling about 50 different latest-and-greatest strains to extract seeds, even with his nose completely out of commission, coated in resin and surrounded by a cloud of eau d’weed, he zeroed in on Bear Force One like Cobretti’s laser sight.

Jet-Fuel Jimbo described Bear Force One as being the ‘final boss of OGs,’ Mephisto’s very own Snake Plissken. The strength and dominance of her odour cannot be denied; nose tingling and tear jerking in equal measure. She’s all sour and gas with watermelon candy floating in the back, with a soapy and sour sweetness sticking to the tongue with a double-denim Dalton chokehold. The candy goodness is the necessary reinforcement to the utter plastering of sour that she slaps you with. She wrecks you with a shock and awe campaign; a blistering cerebral OG stone with effects that are quick to onset and slow to fade; a classic heady forward relaxation that progresses to a hardly functional couchlock. She is more than deserving of her own warning label.

Tester Spotlight: Bear Force One
Grower: SilentJ17

Medium: Coast of Maine Stonington Blend + Seed Starter | Lighting: Spider Farmer SE3000 | Container: 5 gal fabric pot
Nutes: Dr. Earth Homegrown & Flower Girl, Recharge, CalMag
Training: Leaf tucking, late defoliation | Cycle: 70–79 days | Height: 16–21 in (40–55 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Main-cola dominant, side branches spreading out and up, thick bud sites full length of stalk
Yield: 206g fresh frozen | Hash: 7.09g (3.44% return) | Rosin: 5.46g (79.94% press return)
Aroma: Medium during grow, sweet fruit and melon transitioning to gassy fruit with coffee backend; after cure super gassy pine and fruit, sweet and sour fruit on inhale, coffee on exhale
Notes: Trim ease 5/5, trichomes 5/5, intermediate difficulty, light feeder, exceptional hash and rosin plant, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: Sweet melon to gassy fruit with a coffee finish, elite hash and rosin numbers, and a creeping high that starts social and ends with you three dabs deep wondering what happened to the last hour. ⛽☕
SilentJ17 kept Bear Force 1 lean and mean in a 5-gallon setup and she rewarded the measured approach with impeccable trichome structure and hash numbers that had him calling for more. Staying compact and main-cola dominant with side branches fanning out for half the height of the main stalk, every bud site ran thick and loaded from top to bottom, a natural hash plant that barely needed asking. Aroma opened sweet fruit and melon before shifting gassy fruit with a coffee note creeping in on the back end, a profile that translated beautifully through the wash. 206g of fresh frozen yielded 7.09g of 120-90u hash at a 3.44% retu`rn, which then pressed into 5.46g of rosin at a staggering 79.94% return, numbers that speak for themselves. After a week of cure the rosin landed super gassy pine and fruit, with sweet and sour fruit on the inhale and that signature coffee note returning on the exhale. The effects are the final piece of the briefing: a creeper that feels social and easy for the first couple of dabs before quietly erasing your short term memory and leaving you deep in a phone scroll with no recollection of how you got there. Thick smoke, potent jar, and a high command-level hash plant that SilentJ17 wants to see in future Mephisto crosses. Request received and noted. 🫡
Grower: Butterboy42000 (Reddit)

Medium: Organic Soil, Peat Based | Lighting: 700W HLG | Container: 5 gal fabric pot
Nutes: Build A Soil Craft Blend, Build A Bloom, Ferments, Big 6
Training: All natural, branch spreading late stretch, light defoliation | Cycle: 70–79 days | Height: 34–39 in (86–100 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Bushy, natural growth
Yield: 490g
Aroma: Medium during grow, sour melon, old school spice and gas; after cure old school spice dominant with sour and gas
Notes: Trim ease 4/5, trichomes 5/5, intermediate difficulty, unfussy grower, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: Sour melon, old school spice and gas that hits straight in the nostalgia, a no-fuss bushy grower that quietly delivers, and a joint that punches well above its weight for the dab-hardened. ⛽🌿
Butterboy42000 describes his Bear Force 1 run as quietly chugging along; not picky, not dramatic, just a steady professional doing her job in a 5-gallon living soil setup without asking for much in return. Bushy and natural with a little branch spreading during the stretch and a couple of defols throughout, she built a solid frame and got on with it. The aroma landed in classic OG territory: sour melon, old school spice and gas, a profile that hit Butterboy square in the nostalgia and took him straight back to the days of the good sours and diesels. Post-cure that old school spice became the dominant flavour note through joints, a descriptor he couldn't quite pin down beyond knowing exactly what it meant the moment it hit. As a dedicated dab smoker, he notes that a whole joint of Bear Force 1 still managed to deliver a pretty decent buzz; which for someone with that tolerance threshold says everything you need to know about where the potency sits. A no-fuss, quietly impressive operator.
Grower: Modkins

Medium: Happy Frog Soil, CoM Seed Starter, extra perlite | Lighting: 240W LED, 24/7 | Container: 3 gal
Nutes: Cronk Nutrients
Training: Heavy leaf tucking | Cycle: 80–89 days | Height: 28–33 in (71–85 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Bushy, even canopy, golf-ball sized dense chonky buds
Yield: 5 oz / 140g
Aroma: Medium during grow, dankness transitioning to sour fruit near chop; after cure dankness, spice and funk
Notes: Trim ease 4/5, trichomes 4/5, novice friendly, light feeder early, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: Dank to sour fruit on the vine, spice and funk in the jar, chonky golf-ball buds from a 3-gallon pot, and a potent relaxing bedtime smoke that gets the job done every time. ⛽🌿
Modkins kept it simple with Bear Force 1 and she kept it simple right back. Heavy leaf tucking only, light on nutrients early, and a 3-gallon container that had no business producing what it did. She built a bushy, even canopy loaded with golf-ball sized, chonky dense buds that Modkins couldn't stop talking about; and at 5oz from a 3-gallon pot, the numbers back up the enthusiasm. Dankness ruled the tent early before transitioning to sour fruit as chop approached, then settling into straight dankness, spice and funk in the jar. The effects are exactly what you want from a bedtime operator: relaxing, potent, sleep-inducing without being a sledgehammer about it. Modkins tokes her before bed and she gets the job done every time. A clean, structured, no-drama grow that delivers well above its weight class; and apparently this wasn't his only Bear Force 1 run this round. Overall good grows, his words. We'll take it. 🫡
Grower: SmokinTehHerbz

Medium: Coco | Lighting: LED - AC Infinity Evo 3 | Container: 5 gal
Nutes: Jack's Nutrients
Training: Leaf tucking, LST | Cycle: 80–89 days | Height: 40–45 in (101–115 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Bushy, easy to train to wide canopy, heavy branching, clean nugs
Yield: 350g dry
Aroma: Medium during grow, funk-forward with sour melon and savoury richness; after cure fermented melon rind, warm resinous gas, peppery spice finish
Notes: Trim ease 3/5, trichomes 4/5, novice friendly, large yield potential, grow again 4/5, seed to harvest video: youtu.be/xCI4tyrfU5Y
Short Summary: Funk and sour melon deepening into fermented rind, warm gas and peppery spice, a bushy easy trainer with serious yield potential and a layered old-school smoke that rewards the connoisseur. ⛽🍈
SmokinTehHerbz ran Bear Force 1 in coco and she responded with large yield potential and a flavour debrief that reads like a connoisseur's field report. Bushy and easy to train wide, she puts out plenty of fan leaves thanks to heavy branching but the nugs themselves stay clean; easy to work with once you stay on top of the canopy. The aroma opened funk-forward and immediately commanding, deep savoury richness cut through by sharp sour melon with a mouthwatering acidic edge. Post-cure that sharpness transformed into something more refined: fermented melon rind, warmer resinous gas and a peppery spice on the finish that tied the whole profile together with real complexity. On the smoke, fuel-driven depth leads the inhale for the old school heads, sour melon swings through the mid-palate with tangy sweetness, and that peppery spice lingers on the back of the throat long after the exhale. A complete, layered experience from first whiff to final note.

Grower: Terpenetix

Medium: Coco | Lighting: Luxx 645 Pro | Container: 12.2 gal
Nutes: Athena
Training: LST | Cycle: 70–79 days | Height: 34–39 in (86–100 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Wide branching, great density
Yield: 9 oz
Aroma: Medium during grow, sour artificial melon; after cure sour melon and funk
Notes: Trim ease 4/5, trichomes 4/5, novice friendly, grow again 4/5
Short Summary: Sour artificial melon and funk, wide branching with excellent density, and a classic OG high that goes cerebral first before settling into deep body relaxation with strong medicinal potential. ⛽🍈
Terpenetix went in hunting for the sour he always wanted from 505 and Bear Force 1 delivered exactly that. A clean, straightforward LST run in a compact 12.2g container that built wide branching, great density and a terpene profile that hit the brief perfectly. Sour artificial melon ruled the grow, carrying through to a post-cure profile of sour melon and funk that left nothing on the table. At 9oz she came in well above what that container size would suggest, with great density doing the heavy lifting. The effects follow a classic OG arc; cerebral on the front end before dropping into the body with a relaxing weight and notably strong medicinal properties, particularly for pain relief. Short, sweet and exactly what was ordered. Mission accomplished. 🫡
Grower: JB

Medium: Build A Soil 3.0 & Light | Lighting: 300W Vivosun | Container: 15 gal
Nutes: Build A Soil Bloom, Big 6, Craft Blend
Training: Light LST | Cycle: 80–89 days | Height: 58+ in (146cm+)
Plant Shape / Structure: Tall bush, fat golf-ball sized buds throughout, zero larf
Yield: 165g
Aroma: High during grow, funky pungent spice with sour melon and sweet watermelon finish, held through two months of cure; after cure spice and sour watermelon
Notes: Trim ease 5/5, trichomes 5/5, novice friendly, great bag appeal, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: Funky pungent spice and sour watermelon that holds through two months of cure, zero larf on a tall golf-ball bush, and a behind-the-eyes instant onset that zones you out without a care in the world. ⛽🍉
JB pulled the tallest Bear Force 1 of the entire tester run, pushing past 58 inches in a 15-gallon living soil setup with light LST and a straightforward feed programme. A nice tall bush with zero larf, every bud site producing fat golf-ball sized flowers from top to bottom, no exceptions. Aroma came in hot from early on: funky, pungent spice with a sour melon and sweet watermelon finish that held its line all the way through two months of cure before finally mellowing. Post-cure that spice and sour watermelon combination landed with serious bag appeal that JB describes as amazing, and the effects sealed the deal. You feel it behind the eyes instantly, transitioning into a body high before quietly zoning you out without a care in the world. No drama on the grow, no larf in the jar, no complaints at the end. JB calls it a great add to the catalogue. Hard to argue. 🫡

Training: Leaf tuck, LST | Cycle: 90–99 days | Height: 40–45 in (101–115 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Main-cola dominant, low fan leaf production, clean frame
Yield: 254g dry
Aroma: Medium during grow, sharp sour and savoury early, deepening to blue cheese and fresh garlic; after cure creamy fermented blue cheese funk with sour backend
Notes: Trim ease 5/5, trichomes 4/5, novice friendly, issue-free run, grow again 4/5, seed to harvest video coming soon
Short Summary: Sharp garlic and sour deepening into rich blue cheese funk, a clean easy-to-manage main-cola dominant frame, and a relaxing immersive smoke that keeps the mind pleasantly engaged. 🧄🧀
Afterburner was, by SmokinTehHerbz's own account, just a pleasure to grow all around; a beautiful, issue-free run that let the genetics do the talking. She wanted to stay main-cola dominant even under training, kept her fan leaves minimal, and built a clean, easy-to-manage frame in a 30-gallon living soil setup. The aroma is the real story here: sharp, slightly sour and lightly savoury early in flower before deepening into a full blue cheese and fresh garlic funk that got progressively more pungent as she matured, she's not a profile for the faint-hearted. Post-cure the sharp garlic edge softens and integrates into a richer, creamier fermented depth, the Livers lineage coming through with a smooth savoury finish and just enough sour on the backend to keep it balanced. Effects land relaxing and immersive without losing mental clarity, ideal for unwinding while staying pleasantly present. Another seed to harvest video incoming from SmokinTehHerbz, link to follow.
Grower: AutoFlowerFluff

Medium: Soil, Biochar | Lighting: LED | Container: 3 gal
Nutes: Wakefield Biochar, Wallace Farms Organic Soil
Training: None | Cycle: 99+ days | Height: 28–33 in (71–85 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Main-cola dominant, popcorn lowers, benefits from topping or LST
Yield: 4 oz
Aroma: Medium during grow, spicy transitioning to alcohol-based floral perfume; after cure floral perfume with sweet sugar
Notes: Trim ease 3/5, trichomes 4/5, intermediate difficulty, cold weather resilient, grow again 4/5
Short Summary: Spicy to floral perfume with sweet sugar in the jar, a cold-weather survivor with a mind-numbing hard-hitting finish strictly for the seasoned ranks. 🌸⛽
AutoFlowerFluff ran Afterburner through conditions that would ground most plants; 30°F temperatures that would have any sensible soldier calling for extraction, and she kept on keeping on without missing a beat. No training, no intervention, just a main-cola dominant frame doing its thing in a biochar-enriched soil setup. The aroma took a notably different flight path on this one, opening spicy before blooming into a complex floral bouquet reminiscent of an alcohol-based floral perfume; a unique and elegant expression that sets this pheno apart from the blue cheese and garlic of the first report. Post-cure that perfume character deepened with sweet sugar notes woven through, refined and surprisingly sophisticated. The effects are a different story entirely; mind-numbing, hard-hitting, and firmly in the territory of seasoned smokers only.

Grower: Modkins

Medium: Happy Frog Soil, CoM Seed Starter, extra perlite | Lighting: 240W LED, 24/7 | Container: 2 gal
Nutes: Cronk Nutrients
Training: Heavy leaf tucking | Cycle: 80–89 days | Height: 46–51 in (116–130 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Large multi-cola, nodes stretched hard to light, good canopy, heavy buds leaning late
Yield: 203.9g / 7.2 oz
Aroma: Medium during grow, funky throughout with fruit basket undertones; after cure dank, funk, skunk with fruit
Notes: Trim ease 4/5, trichomes 5/5, novice friendly, extra water required, heavy feeder late, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: Dank funky skunk with a fruit basket underneath, a beast of a plant that outgrows its container and hits hard enough to make you forget the CBD is even there. 🦨🍇
Blue Force 1 came in like a beast and never let up. Modkins ran her in a modest 2-gallon container and she still pushed into genuinely huge territory, with nodes shooting skyward and multiple main colas racing toward the light in every direction. Heavy leaf tucking kept the canopy in check but she demanded water on a daily basis; a thirsty soldier with big ambitions. Late flower the buds loaded up so heavily she started leaning hard, so stake her up before she decides to take a knee. Funk dominated the tent from start to finish, with a fruit basket lurking underneath keeping things interesting. Post-cure she landed dank, skunky and funky with that fruit basket still peeking through, and the smoke hit well above what the CBD lineage might suggest, calming and relaxing on the body but genuinely smacking on the head, sleep-inducing, munchie-triggering and potent enough that Modkins admits it almost made him forget there was CBD in there at all. A night-time weapon dressed in dank loud terps.

Grower: InappropriatelyLarge

Medium: Coco | Lighting: LED | Container: 65 gal
Nutes: CropSalt
Training: Tucking | Cycle: 80–89 days | Height: 34–39 in (86–100 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Natural even canopy, heavy tops
Yield: 833g fresh frozen
Aroma: Low during grow, tart citrus; after cure creamy funky cheese
Notes: Trim ease 5/5, trichomes 5/5, novice friendly, grow again 5/5
🏆 Award: 3rd Place Best Rosin American Autoflower Cup 2026
Short Summary: Tart citrus on the vine flipping to creamy funky cheese in the jar, a natural even canopy that'll need support when she loads up, and a live rosin that took 3rd place at the 2026 American Autoflower Cup. 🏆
Commando'z executed a clean, low-drama run for InappropriatelyLarge, building a natural even canopy in a 5-gallon container without needing much direction. The only mission complication? The tops got so heavy with dense, frost-laden buds that the plant staged its own tactical retreat and fell over; support is strongly recommended if you're giving her room to grow big. Aroma stayed tart and citrus-forward throughout the grow before making a smooth post-cure transition into creamy funky cheese, a classic BF1 bait-and-switch that rewards patience. The smoke lands relaxing and easy, and apparently, competition-winning. InappropriatelyLarge took his Commando'z live rosin all the way to the 2026 American Autoflower Cup and came home with 3rd Place. You can catch him on the Mephisto Discord and on his YouTube channel, where he documented the live press of his podium-finishing submission.

Grower: SilentJ17

Medium: Coast of Maine Stonington Blend + Seed Starter | Lighting: Spider Farmer SE5000 | Container: 5 gal fabric pot
Nutes: Dr. Earth Homegrown & Flower Girl, Recharge, Silica, CalMag
Training: Leaf tucking, late defoliation | Cycle: 60–69 days | Height: 22–27 in (56–70 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Main-cola dominant, tall side branching, chunky golf-ball nugs, heavy frost
Yield: 568.45g fresh frozen | Hash: 23.15g (4.08% return)
Aroma: Medium during grow, candy sweet fruit evolving to loud blueberry pancake syrup
Notes: Trim ease 5/5, trichomes 5/5, novice friendly, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: Blueberry pancake syrup from vine to rosin press, chunky frosted nugs, and a smooth relaxing smoke that earns a third run before the first jar runs out.
Dessert Storm came in on a stealth mission and detonated pure blueberry. SilentJ17 ran her naturally and she responded with a main-cola dominant frame, tall side branches that close the gap late, and chunky golf-ball nugs blanketed in frost. Sweet candy fruit through flower before erupting into full blueberry pancake syrup as the trichomes packed on, loud enough that keeping hands off the jars was a losing battle. The fresh frozen run returned 23.15g of hash at a solid 4.08%, with rosin hitting the jar as straight blueberry syrup before sour grape crept through the cure. Smooth, sweet and deeply relaxing on the smoke, built for end-of-day wind-downs or anywhere turning heads is part of the plan. SilentJ17 already had a third one in the ground before the first jar was empty. The blueberry dragon has been caught.
Grower: InappropriatelyLarge

Medium: Coco | Lighting: LED | Container: 5 gal
Nutes: CropSalt
Training: Tucking | Cycle: 80–89 days | Height: 52–57 in (131–145 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Even canopy, slight apical dominance, large plant
Yield: 987g fresh frozen
Aroma: Low during grow, sour citrus/fruit; after cure melon and citrus or sour blueberry depending on pheno
Notes: Trim ease 5/5, extra water and nutrients required, novice friendly, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: A big, thirsty stunner with two phenos worth chasing; melon citrus or sour blueberry. Both landing relaxing and both absolutely not to be skipped. 🫐🍈
Round two of Dessert Storm and inappropriatelyLarge pulled a big one, and we mean big. Running her in the same 5-gallon setup that took Commando'z to the podium, this Dessert Storm stretched into a genuine stunner, pushing past four feet and commanding attention with an even canopy and slight apical dominance that filled the space beautifully. She ran thirsty and hungry, asking for extra water and nutrients to fuel that frame, but rewarded the investment with fruity terps that Large describes as absolutely not to be passed on. Two distinct phenos emerged from the fresh frozen wash: one leaning melon and citrus, the other swinging hard into sour blueberry; twin operatives, same mission, different intel. Both landed relaxing on the smoke.
Grower: SmokinTehHerbz

Nutes: Build-A-Soil Craft Blend, BAS Peach Ferment, Grower's Recharge
Training: Leaf tuck, LST | Cycle: 90–99 days | Height: 34–39 in (86–100 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Bushy squat plant, easily trained wide, medium to large dense nugs

Notes: Trim ease 4/5, trichomes 4/5, novice friendly, grow again 4/5, seed to harvest video coming soon
Short Summary: Sharp gassy sour evolving into blueberry lemonade on the vine, smoothing to refined fuel and rich berry zest in the jar, with a clear euphoric lift that settles into easy body relaxation. 🫐🍋
SmokinTehHerbz called this one his favourite of the entire BF1 tester run, and the grow backs it up. A bushy, squat plant that trained wide without complaint, producing medium to large dense nugs across an even canopy in a 30-gallon living soil setup. The aroma journey on this one is particularly well-documented: sharp gassy sour on the vine, softened by a creamy whipped-fruit undertone, before maturing into fresh blueberry lemonade; sweet berry zest, tangy citrus lift and a subtle fuel base all playing together. Post-cure that sharp edge mellows into a smoother, more refined fuel note with the blueberry and citrusy lemonade zest becoming more defined and cohesive. Effects land clear-headed and euphoric up front before settling into a comfortable mellow body relaxation, a well-balanced ride from start to finish. Seed to harvest video incoming, watch this space.
Grower: Music_Over

Medium: Sunshine Mix #4 | Lighting: 800W LED Bar Style | Container: 5 gal
Nutes: Advanced Nutrients, Recharge
Training: Garden staples | Cycle: 80–89 days | Height: 40–45 in (101–115 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Main-cola dominant, even top canopy, excellent structure, purple and pink colouring
Yield: 10 oz
Aroma: Medium during grow, gassy on steroids; after cure punch-you-in-the-nose gas
Notes: Trim ease 4/5, trichomes 5/5, novice friendly, extra water required, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: Gassy on steroids from seed to jar with stunning purple and pink colours, an even canopy built for big yields, and a chill euphoric high that keeps things simple and happy. ⛽💜
Music_Over's Dessert Storm skipped the fruit briefing entirely and went full gas. A straight stinker from start to finish; "gassy on steroids" in his words, with a punch-you-in-the-nose jar opening that leaves zero ambiguity about what you're dealing with. She built a beautiful even canopy with a main cola sitting just a smidge above the rest, purple and pink colours emerging through senescence and adding serious visual appeal to an already impressive structure. She ran thirsty, asking for extra water throughout, but rewarded the effort with 10oz of dense, gassy, trichome-loaded flowers. The high lands exactly how the aroma promises; chill, euphoric and happy, a social easy-going buzz that doesn't overcomplicate things. Sometimes the best missions are the straightforward ones.

Grower: Butterboy42000

Medium: Organic Peat Based Soil | Lighting: HLG 700W | Container: 5 gal fabric / 6 in terracotta / 1 gal fabric
Nutes: Build A Soil Craft Blend, Build A Bloom, Build A Flower, Big 6, Ferments, Worm Castings; Success brand nutes for smaller pots
Training: All natural, leaf tucking, defoliation, staking in stretch; heavy LST on terracotta and 1 gal fabric | Cycle: 70–79 days (5 gal: 78 days, terracotta: 76 days, 1 gal fabric: 96 days) | Height: 34–39 in (86–100 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Main-cola dominant, christmas tree shape, dense solid buds, some popcorn on lowers
Yield: 5 gal: 100g | Smaller pots: 1–2 oz each
Aroma: Medium during grow, sour berries with slight gas and chem; after cure BF1 old school spice with berry
Notes: Trim ease 5/5, trichomes 4/5, novice friendly, nutrient sensitive, extra water required, late trichome surge, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: Sour berry and chem on the vine with BF1 old school spice emerging through cure, dense solid buds across three container sizes, and a hard-hitting onset that mellows into a long functional stone. 🥝🍇⛽
Butterboy42000 ran Kiwi Tango three ways simultaneously, 5-gallon fabric, terracotta and 1-gallon fabric; giving us one of the more comprehensive pheno comparisons of the entire tester round. All three stayed main-cola dominant with a christmas tree shape, taking well to LST and defoliation without much fuss, and all three kept their aromatic cards close to their chest until the very end when trichome production suddenly kicked into overdrive. Sour berries and a slight gas and chem edge during the grow, light but present, before the BF1 old school spiciness emerged post-cure with berry woven through; that same nostalgic quality that keeps showing up across the Bear Force 1 family like a regimental signature. Run times varied interestingly across containers: 78 and 76 days for the 5-gallon and terracotta, while the 1-gallon fabric stretched to 96 days. The 5-gallon led on yield at 100g with the smaller pots pulling 1-2oz each. Effects hit hard out of the gate before mellowing into a functional stone; as Butterboy puts it, one dab and two ball vapes had him soaring mid-review, functional but firmly elevated. His words: "maybe I smoke too much Meph." A fair and relatable observation. 🫡

Grower: DK / Ancient_Kangaroo_492

Medium: Soil | Lighting: Vivosun 650W Bar | Container: 3 gal
Nutes: Mega Crop 2 Part
Training: Au natural | Cycle: 80–89 days | Height: 22–27 in (56–70 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Classic main-cola dominant, fat side branch nugs, compact frame
Yield: 2.5 oz
Aroma: Medium during grow, gassy berry; after cure gassy berry, consistent throughout
Notes: Trim ease 4/5, trichomes 4/5, intermediate difficulty, easy trim, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: Gassy berry from vine to jar in a compact purple package, with a social uplifting buzz that winds down as gracefully as it winds up
Lieutenant Dank earned her stripes with a textbook run for DK/Ancient_Kangaroo_492, staying compact and well-structured in a generous 3-gallon container with zero training needed. Classic main-cola dominant with side branches stacking fat, dense nugs all the way down; DK described her simply as a purple Major Toke, and that about covers it. Structure was perfect, trim was easy, and the gassy berry aroma held its line from seed to jar without wavering. The effects are where she really distinguishes herself from her Major Toke parent: that same uplifting, motivating social buzz is all there on the front end, but as the high winds down so do you; eyes getting heavy, body easing into relaxation, a smooth transition from productive to restful that never forces the issue. Keep smoking and you stay in control of the landing. At 2.5oz she also came in well above her compact frame suggested.

Medium: Coco | Lighting: LED | Container: 65 gal
Nutes: CropSalt
Training: Tucking | Cycle: 70–79 days | Height: 28–33 in (71–85 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Even canopy, self-topping on every crown node
Yield: 578g fresh frozen
Aroma: High during grow, sour fruit — loud; after cure sour grape, uniquely intense
Notes: Trim ease 5/5, novice friendly, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: Loud sour fruit from seed to jar with a uniquely intense sour grape cure, a self-topping canopy that does the work for you, and a fast, easy run that lets the Stomper genetics do all the talking. 🍇
Major Stomp reported for duty and came out swinging sour from day one. inappropriatelyLarge kept things simple in his trusty 65-gallon coco setup and she repaid the straightforward approach with an easy, no-fuss run and an aroma that filled the room with loud, relentless sour fruit; his words: "sour sour sour, loud as f**k." A self-topping mutation at every crown node was the only curveball, turning the canopy into a natural multi-top without any intervention needed. Post-cure she locked in on a sour grape profile unlike anything Large had encountered before; his words again, and he's run a few. Effects land at a confident 4/5, relaxing and well-rounded, with the Sour Stomper lineage wearing its stripes loud and proud.

Grower: Breadbox_grows

Medium: Coco | Lighting: AC Infinity Evo 6 | Container: 3 gal
Nutes: Athena Pro Series
Training: LST, lollipop | Cycle: 70–79 days | Height: 40–45 in (101–115 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Multiple big stalks, decent sized colas
Yield: 6.8 oz
Aroma: High during grow, rubber, cream and fuel; after cure creamy gas
Notes: Trim ease 3/5, trichomes 4/5, novice friendly, light feeder, fast finisher for a haze cross, grow again 4/5
Short Summary: Rubber, cream and fuel on the vine into creamy gas in the jar, a fast-finishing haze cross with 505 structure, above-average yield on light feed, and a sharp all-head high that keeps the engines running. 🚀⛽
M.A.S.H.E.D caught Breado off guard in the best possible way. Expecting a longer run given the haze genetics on the War Pigs side, she wrapped up in 70-79 days and came loaded with frost coverage that had no business finishing that fast. She built a multi-cola dominant structure rather than leaning on a single lead, spreading her weight evenly across the canopy and keeping things manageable with minimal input; exactly the kind of soldier you want in a smaller space. The aroma profile reads like a classified briefing: rubber, cream and fuel on the vine, transitioning post-cure into a smooth creamy gas. Breadbox noted the structure felt unmistakably 505, a familiar silhouette for anyone who's run that particular Karma classic. Effects went full cerebral, all head, very little body, a sharp, lively high that mirrors the Apollo Haze parentage and keeps the altitude for hours. At 6.7oz she came in well above expectations for a light-fed run.

Grower: Music_Over

Medium: Sunshine Mix #4 | Lighting: 800W LED Bar Style | Container: 5 gal
Nutes: Advanced Nutrients, Recharge
Training: Garden staples | Cycle: 80–89 days | Height: 22–27 in (56–70 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Main-cola dominant, short and squat
Yield: 6 oz
Aroma: High during grow, cherry limeade meets funky B.O.; after cure limeade and stinky B.O.
Notes: Trim ease 5/5, trichomes 5/5, intermediate difficulty, possible stunt, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: Cherry limeade in a funky armpit headlock on the vine, limeade and B.O. in the jar, and a giggly cheesing high that's impossible not to smile through. 🍒🍋
Maverick's Crush came in loud, funky and completely addictive. Music_Over suspects she got stunted early, she stayed short and squat throughout, but she had absolutely no interest in letting that affect the mission, pulling 6oz off a compact main-cola dominant frame and filling the tent with one of the more memorable aroma descriptions we've received in this entire tester run. His words, not ours: "like drinking a cherry limeade while in a headlock with your nose smashed in an unwashed armpit." High aroma strength from the jump, and that funk never let up. Post-cure she settled into limeade and stinky B.O, a combination that sounds questionable on paper but delivers that irresistible can't-stop-smelling-it quality that only the truly funky strains pull off. The smoke is pure good vibes, giggly, grinning, cheesing the whole time. A strain that doesn't take itself too seriously and is better for it.

Nutes: Athena Pro Series
Training: LST, lollipop | Cycle: 70–79 days | Height: 40–45 in (101–115 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Multi-cola dominant, even canopy
Yield: 8.7 oz
Aroma: Medium during grow, creamy light orange rind with gas backend; after cure cream orange gas
Notes: Trim ease 2/5, trichomes 3/5, novice friendly, fast finisher, frost coverage exceeded expectations
Short Summary: Creamy orange rind and gas with surprise-level frost, a fast finish that defies the haze lineage, and a sharp cerebral high that hits all head and keeps on climbing. 🍊⛽
Sky Commander came in fast, flew high and left Breado wondering why haze crosses ever had a reputation for running long. Another surprisingly quick finisher in the 70-79 day window, she built multiple big stalks with decent-sized colas and trichome coverage that punched well above her light nutrient intake; she was running lean and still delivered. The pheno Breadbox landed was a creamy light orange rind up front, subtle but persistent, with a gassy back end that added depth without overpowering, that carries the Apollo Haze spirit without losing the OG weight of the BF1 backbone. Post-cure that cream and orange gas translated directly, and the effects went full cerebral; all head, very little body, a sharp and lively high that took him by surprise. At 8.7oz she also came in heavy. Shocked is an understatement.
