You all know by now how hard work went into our Medicinals line strains, Canna-Cheese 1:1 and Aunt Ginny’s Elixir, and we also hate when these titans of the lineup miss out on the fun of our Artisanal drops. So, we set aside a few choice females of an all-CBD lineage of our Medicinal strains to use as either pollen donors or recipients to pair with the latest and greatest of the Artisanal lineup.

Alongside our newest CBD strains, we’re also adding back to the store the much-missed O’z strains. We recently had to remove them from our catalogue (for undisclosed legal reasons), and we’ve been patiently waiting for the time when the rebranded strains can be added back to the lineup.

The CBD limited editions and the renamed MephistO’z and its crosses will be dropping on the 2nd of June at 1pm EU, 12pm UK, 7am Eastern, 4am Pacific.

Introducing our second batch of CBD crossed Limited Editions, using all CBD variants of our Medicinal line strains crossed with some of the freshest, frostiest Artisanals that we’ve added to the catalogue over the last year. The result? A wild lineup of unique autos that bring the medicating vibes of CBD with all the funk, flavour, and fire you've come to expect from us at Mephisto HQ. Whether you're after mellow meds, creative calm, or just want to try something a little different, there's a gem (or five) in here for you. Because these are true polyhybrid F1s, cannabinoid expression can swing depending on the pheno you pull. Most will fall somewhere in the 2:1 to 1:2 CBD:THC range, striking a balance between therapeutic and recreational effects. But some outliers may lean heavier toward either side of the spectrum, offering a more pronounced CBD-forward chill or a sneakily potent THC-laced ride. MephistO'z is a strain that embodies what Mephisto Genetics is all about: turning legendary photoperiod cuts into the absolute best autoflowering strains available on the market today.

For those not in the know about MephistO'z and how it's become one of our most popular strains, here's a little of the background lore for you to sink your teeth in to.

This project is, as far as we’re concerned, what Mephisto Genetics is all about; turning legendary photoperiod cuts into the absolute best autoflowering strains available on the market today.

Our Oooze cut comes from a tightly held cut in NorCal circa 2021, revered for its insane bag appeal and high potency. While the original Oooze cut was sometimes lacking in the flavour and aroma department, MephistO’z retains the bag appeal and potency, with an added kick of Mephisto terpladen goodness.

We’ve taken our classic cut of Oooze and crossed it with Sour Stomper x Double Grape to amplify its best traits. The result? A strain that maintains the eye-popping frost, vibrant colours, and dense flower structure of the original, but with a richer, more pronounced aroma and flavour. Expect a gas-forward scent, with an earthiness and subtle undertones of spicy chocolate, focusing on enhancing the classic Oooze, without too much interruption from the grape-heavy Sour Stomper x Double Grape parentage.

MephistO’z is not just a pretty face; she’s also a powerhouse in terms of potency. She’s not an elegant Randy Savage elbow drop from the top, but more like a devastating Doomsday Device from the Road Warriors. We’ve ensured that the offspring inherited the high THC content of both parent strains, making it a dead cert for anyone seeking a potent high. We’ve also ensured low leaf-to-flower ratios, making for easier trimming and more of a plain-sailing, hands-off grow.

Moving many of our projects from the original farm has allowed us to get our hands on some of the classic American genetics that were just impossible to find in Spain; it’s also given us, technically speaking, a fuck-load more space to make our selections. We pollinated roughly 500-600 plants with reversed Oooze pollen, before selecting just our two favourite individuals with that gas-forward aroma we were searching for. We then grew out approximately 500 plants from each selected photo/auto hybrid and selected our favourite six plants to reverse and self/intercross. During the F3 generation, we continued to sift through large populations to select for all traits mentioned above, with special emphasis on selecting away from the grape aroma and flavour (which is super prevalent in both Sour Stomper x Double Grape) to better capture the essence of Oooze in auto form.

The result? A frost monster with bag appeal and potency for days, with added complimentary and luscious terps and aromas, to an easy-to-grow plant that won’t confine you to trim jail for an eternity just to sample her.
