New Illuminautos are on the way & Exclusive Artwork

Greetings Meph Heads!

2024 is already in full swing at Meph HQ, and even though it’s only February, we’re already buzzing to announce our second and third drops of the year!

What are Illuminautos?

Our Illuminautos line started way back in February 2016, initially, this was a way of us releasing tiny batch seeds of particular crosses we were desperate to create, or even, in the early years, Mitch’s Pick phenotypes of existing strains in the catalogue. In the first two Illuminauto releases, we didn’t even name all of the strains we offered! The Illuminautos line over the years has produced so much fire that we ended up creating a whole new line, the Reserva line, to allow us to breed out some of these strains to at least F3 and release them into the catalogue full-time, with Grape Walker Kush, ManBearAlienPig & Ghost Toof, to name just a few, that have all found permanent homes in the catalogue after getting their start as F1 Illuminautos. 

2024 Illuminautos Lineup

This year's line-up, just as in years past, is crammed full of sure-fire hits. Take a look at the upcoming strains below:

#80 Strawberry Kiss
Strawberry Nuggets x Toof Decay
Expect a shorter, more compact plant leaning heavily indica, with a sweet and fruity flavour profile; like bobbing for candy in a bowl of fruit punch. Optimised for indoor grows, she’ll grow with dense buds and a sickly sweet aroma.

#81 Petrol Punch
Orange Diesel x Mango Smile
Look ahead to diesel and citrus, sweetness and mango. Combining the ever-popular Mango Smile with the sleeper hit Orange Diesel, she’ll be a larger plant with good yields; sativa leaning with an invigorating and energetic high. 

#82 Hypermatter
Orange Diesel x Skywalker
Indica leaning, Hypermatter is guaranteed to be one of Ned’s favourite strains; with Kush parentage on both sides. Expect a mid-sized plant with rock-hard buds and a carbon-filter-testing aroma.

#83 Wedding Chappelle
Sour Crack x Mephisto's Wedding
We love us some Mephisto’s Wedding, and Sour Crack has been a firm favourite for almost a decade now, so this combination has high expectations on the farm. A heavy indica; expect couch-lock, body highs, sleepy times and a raided cookie cupboard. Expect a faster-finishing plant than average, with sour funk and a tiny hint of sweetness.

#84 Gold Toof
Toof Decay x 24 Carat
Two of our favourite Originals strains finally get together and make some babies. Another heavy indica, expect a heavy coating of frost and an ideal candidate for extractions. We expect the Toof Decay lineage to add a little weight to the already stocky frame of the 24 Carat, with a complex aroma and sweetness on the inhale.

#85 Yogi's Stash
HubbaBubbaHaze x Grizzly Crinkle 
A balanced hybrid strain; Yogi’s Stash promises good yields and a unique flavour profile. Expect a girl that needs to be tamed during growth, but an end product that will be worth the work.

This year's Illuminautos are due to drop at 3pm Eastern (US & Canada), 12 noon GMT (UK) on the 12th of February. And they’re not all that’s dropping at that time…

Jacob Collins X Mephisto Genetics Artwork

Jacob Rolfe (Jacob Collins of Trailer Park Boys) has created two limited edition Jacob Collins X Mephisto Genetics screen-printed artworks! Dropping on the 12th of February, also at 3pm Eastern (US & Canada) & 12 noon GMT (UK), and available in incredibly limited numbers worldwide; Jacob’s Remedy is available in 8 ¾ x 11 ¾” and Mephisto Mountain is 8 ½ x 11”. Each artwork is individually numbered and hand-signed by Jacob Rolfe himself! Check out Jacob’s video below to see exactly how each of them is made.
